Career Recap: Austin Peay
As a senior in 2021-22:
Spring Season
- Won four singles and a career-best six doubles matches, tied for the second-most combined victories on the team.
- Won five doubles matches alongside Hogan Stoker, four of which came from the No. 3 position.
- Won three-straight doubles matches from Feb. 12 to March 15.
- Picked up the doubles-clinching point in the OVC-opener against Eastern Illinois, April 9.
- Won back-to-back matches against North Alabama (March 26) and Eastern Illinois (April 9) in the No. 2 singles position.
- Won his final two doubles matches of the season alongside Stoker, including a 6-4 victory against EIU in the first round of the OVC Championship (April 29).
- Finished his Austin Peay career with 18 singles and 10 doubles victories.
Fall Season
- Won four singles and one doubles match in three fall tournaments.
- Won two-straight matches at the ITA Ohio Valley Regionals, advancing to the Consolation Singles Round of 16
- Went 2-0 in singles at the APSU Hidden Duel.
- Paired with freshman Hogan Stoker to defeat Brescia’s Aleksa Stefanovic and Joao Pontes, 6-1, at the APSU Hidden Duel.
As a junior in 2020-21:
Spring Season
- Played in the No. 2 and No. 3 singles positions for most of the season, with a single appearance on the No. 4 line.
- Defeated Tennessee State’s Oliwer Wierzbicki in straight sets to start OVC play.
- Played No. 2 doubles in each match, partnering with Thiago Nogueira in the first two outings and Jacob Lorino in the final ten.
As a sophomore in 2019-20:
Spring Season
- Played mostly in the No. 4 singles position, winning a team-best six matches in the spring.
- After a slow start, he finished the abbreviated spring season on a five-match winning streak, including a win in the No. 2 position in his final match.
- Won a trio of doubles matches in the No. 3 position with Hunter Sanders, going on a three-match winning streak from Feb. 18 to Feb. 28.
Fall Season
- Missed the entire fall tournament season.
As a freshman in 2018-19:
Spring Season
- Missed the entire spring due to injury.
Fall Season
- Picked up a pair of wins in doubles and singles.
- Teamed with Christian Edison to end the fall on a two-match doubles win streak.
Prior to Austin Peay
The Sweedish standout was ranked No. 40 in the National Men’s Rankings in his native country… He has picked up two wins over players ranked in the top 20 in his country, knocking off the No. 14 and No. 16 players… Climbed to as high as No. 1044 in the International Tennis Federation rankings… Won the Munka Ljungby Open and the Steina Line Open… A member of the Ystad Tennis Club, he led his team to a pair of regional championships
