Denny Boguskie

Denny Boguskie enters his fourth season as an assistant coach for the Lady Govs softball program.

Boguskie, a long-time fixture around the Clarksville softball scene, assists primarily with the outfielders and in game-day operations.

Before coming to Austin Peay, Boguskie spent the previous 10 years at nearby Rossview High School, serving as an assistant coach for Phillip Burkhart.

With Boguskie on staff, the Redhawks won six district championships and made nine regional tournament appearances, advancing to the 2005 TSSAA State Tournament. During that time Rossview, won 224 games and had a district record of 112-26.

Off the softball field, Boguskie was a long-time probation officer for the United States Federal Court system, as well as a high school football official for the TSSAA. The Nashville native graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 1978.

He and his wife Martha have two grown daughters, Kacie Gaston and Allison Bryan and a new grandson Ranger Gaston.
