2023: A First Team All-UAC selection, he started all 12 games at wide receiver… Had three catches for 72 yards, including a 52-yard touchdown, at Tennessee (Sept. 9)… Tallied two catches for 39 yards and a touchdown against ETSU (Sept. 16)… Recorded three receptions for 80 yards with a 78-yard touchdown catch at Stephen F. Austin (Sept. 23)… Caught a touchdown in his fourth-straight game while recording two catches for 82 yards at Lindenwood (Sept. 30)… Had a season-best five receptions for 101 yards – his first-career 100-yard receiving game – against Gardner-Webb… Threw his first-career touchdown pass at Southern Utah (Oct. 21), firing a 54-yard pass to Tre Shackelford to tie the game on the opening play of the fourth quarter… Also had four catches for 80 yards and caught a walk-off eight-yard touchdown in double overtime to beat Southern Utah… Matched his season-high with five receptions while posting a career-best 129 receiving yards and a career-long 87-yard touchdown – the longest touchdown catch by a Gov and tied for the 13th-longest in the FCS in 2023 – against North Alabama (Oct. 28)… Totaled three catches for 75 yards and a 38-yard score against Utah Tech (Nov. 11)… Finished the season with 34 receptions for 721 yards and seven touchdowns – all career highs… Ranked fifth in the FCS and led the UAC with 21.21 yards per reception… Also ranked 24th in the FCS, fourth in the UAC, and led the Governors in receiving touchdowns… Ranked sixth in the UAC and second on the team in receiving yards… Was one of just three players in the UAC with 700-plus receiving yards and seven or more receiving touchdowns… Was one of just two UAC players to record a passing and receiving touchdown, but was the only player to do so in the same game when he accomplished that feat at Southern Utah.
2022: One of the Governors five season-long captains, played in all 11 games and made eight starts at wide receiver… Had two receptions for 11 yards and completed a 39-yard pass in the season opener at Western Kentucky (Aug. 27)… Caught touchdowns in three-straight games with two scores against Presbyterian (Sept. 3) – his first multi-touchdown game – and one touchdown against both Mississippi Valley State (Sept. 10) and Alabama A&M (Sept. 17)… Posted career-highs with 10 receptions for 84 yards at Central Arkansas (Oct. 1)… Once again served as the Governors holder on field goals and PATs… Recorded a tackle in each of the final two games of the season against Kennesaw State (Nov. 12) and Alabama (Nov. 19)… Finished the season with 32 receptions for 359 yards and four touchdowns – ranking third on the team in all three categories… His four touchdown catches ranked ninth in the ASUN Conference.
2021: Played in all 11 games at wide receiver… Caught first-career pass for 21 yards at Ole Miss (Sept. 11)… Hauled in first touchdown on a 31-yard toss from fellow freshman Neyland Jean in the home opener against Morehead State (Sept. 18)… Served as the holder on PATs and completed a pass for a two-point conversion against Morehead State… Finished the season with five catches for 66 yards and four punt returns or 11 yards.
High School: Played wide receiver for Keith Maloof at Norcross High School, leading Blue Devils to Georgia Class 7A state semifinal appearance and 13-1 record… Caught 42 passes for 801 yards and 12 touchdowns in senior season… Named First Team All-Region 7-7A in 2020 after earning second team all-region as a junior… Began prep career as a quarterback before transitioning to wide receiver during junior year… Competed in outdoor track and field in the long jump, 100- and 200-meter dashes and, the 300-meter hurdles… Posted a personal best long jump of 20-10.5 as a senior.
Personal: Trey Joshua Goodman is the son of Beth and Alaric Goodman… Birthday is Jan. 29… Has two siblings: Taylor and Premiere… A health and human performance major with a sport and wellness specialist concentration.
