Austin Peay State University Athletics

2022-23: Competed in eight meets between the indoor and outdoor seasons for the Governors… During the indoor season, she posted a personal best in the 400M clocking in at 1:00.65 at the BSC Indoor Icebreaker (Dec. 2)… During the outdoor season, Stephen helped the govs place top five in several relays, including the 4x200 and 4x400 along with setting a new personal best in the 400M at the Margaret Simmons Invitational (Mar. 25) with a time of 56.69.

2021-22: Competed in six meets during the indoor season … ran a career-best time of 42.60 at the Commodore Indoor in the 300-meter dash … tallied a career-best time of 26.16 in the 200-meter dash at the Samford Bulldog Open … ran a career-best time of 59.07 in the 400-meter dash at the Samford Bulldog Open … finished 14th in the prelims of the 400-meter dash at the OVC Indoor Championships

Prior to Austin Peay: Departed Whitehaven High School as a top-10 runner in program history in the 400, 800, 1600, 3200 on the track and the 5K in cross country… holds not only the school record in the 4x400 but the state record as well… helped Whitehaven to one state title and one runner-up finish… qualified for the Junior Olympics in the 200, 400 and 4x100-meter relay… also an all-conference volleyball player.

Personal: Daughter of Natalie and Jarvis Stephen… one sibling, Javion, born Nov. 22.
