2014-15: Already among the greatest track performers in Austin Peay history, Jones added to her legacy last season… broke two more school records along the way, giving her a share in five Austin Peay records… picked up five wins (three in the 400 and one each in the 200 and 60 meter dashes) during indoor season… set the school 60m record at the SIU Invitational, winning the event with a 7.64 mark… won the 400m dash at the SPIRE Invitational (54.01) and returned to Ohio a week later to set the school 400m indoor mark at the Ohio State Tune-Up, finishing third with a 53.96 run… during the OVC Indoor Championships, won the 400m dash (55.57) and earned silver in the 200m (24.88) and 4x400m relay (3:50.16), running the anchor leg for APSU’s silver medal relay squad… tough to beat in the 400m dash during outdoor season, winning four of her six attempts… took the top prize at the Vanderbilt Black and Gold (53.99) and Memphis Invitational (54.38)… also picked up 200m dash wins at Memphis (24.05) and the APSU Invitational (24.39)… won her second straight 400m Outdoor Championship with a 53.70 mark, and also took silver in the 200m (24.15)—her 200m preliminary attempt of 23.93 broke the school record… advanced to the NCAA Preliminary Round for the third year in a row, where she finished 28th overall in the East Region with a 53.63 run.
2013-14: Austin Peay’s first NCAA Championship participant since 2001… After two seasons, already one of the most decorated sprinters in Austin Peay history… owns both 400m dash records and ran legs of the 1600m (indoor) and 4x100m (outdoor) relays that also broke records… won the 400m at the SIU Invitational with a 57.46 mark… 55.27 run in the 400m at the OVC Indoor Championships was a school record and good for a silver medal… also took silver in the 1600m relays at the OVC Championships (3:48.20)… part of record-breaking 1600m indoor relay, posting a 3:47.04 at the TSU Invitational… hit stride during outdoor season, posting five straight wins in the 400m event – at the Ole Miss Open (55.08), the Hilltopper Relays (55.63), SIUE Gateway Invite (54.22), OVC Outdoor Championships (54.08) and Georgia Invitational (54.24)… 4x100m relay squad featuring Jones broke the school record at the OVC Outdoor Championships with 45.28 mark to earn silver, and picked up a second silver medal with 4x400m team while nearly breaking the school record in that event with a 3:41.21 mark… hit 52.82 at the NCAA East Preliminary First Round and lowered the school record further still in the quarterfinals with an OVC-record 52.65 to finish seventh overall in the region, qualifying for the NCAA Championships in the process… finished 20th in the nation in the 400m event at the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon, with a 53.77 run that was 13th among non-seniors in the event.
2012-13: Had one of the best freshman campaigns in Austin Peay track history… broke school record in the 400m run en route to NCAA Preliminary competition and a qualifying mark for the Junior Pan American Games… never finished outside the top-10 in the 400m during indoor season… top Lady Gov runner in the 200m (outdoor) and 400m (indoor and outdoor) events… part of indoor 4x400m relay team that won the Buckeye Tune-Up (3:48.75) and earned bronze at the OVC Indoor Championships with a 3:51.64 mark… part of 4x400m relay team that placed fourth at the OVC Outdoor Championships (3:52.11)… indoor highlights include third-place finishes at the Niswonger Invitational (58.17) and Buckeye Tune-Up (indoor personal-best 55.89)… seventh at the OVC Indoor Championships with a 57.21 mark… raised her game to heights unseen during outdoor season… kicked off outdoor campaign with 400m victory at APSU Invitational with a 56.44 mark, and a runner-up finish in the 200m (25.27)… broke 55 seconds in the 400m for the first time at the Vanderbilt Invitational (54.87), where she finished fifth… finished just off the podium at the OVC Outdoor Championships; her 55.74 in the finals placed her fourth… smashed her own school record in the 400m at the NCAA East Preliminary with an opening-round run of 53.75… finished 20th overall in the East with a 53.91 mark… represented Austin Peay at the US Junior Nationals… lowered her personal-best to 53.26 at the Junior Championships, finishing fifth and earning a spot in the relay pool for the 2013 Pan American Junior Games in Medellin, Colombia.
