Outdoor Season

• Competed in six meets.
• Silver medalist in the 400-meter hurdles at the ASUN Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
• All-ASUN in the 200-meter dash after earning a seventh-place finish in the finals of the event at the Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Indoor Season

• Competed in six meets.
• Helped Austin Peay to a bronze medal in the 4x400 at the ASUN Indoor Track and Field Championships, while also earning a seventh and eighth-place finish in the 400 and 200-meter dashes, respectively.

Career Recap: Drake 2020-24 (Freshman-Senior)
Earned six All-Missouri Valley Conference awards during her career as a bulldog… Was the MVC indoor and outdoor champion in the 400MH in 2022… Never placed lower than third in the MVC in the 400MH… Holds the record for second all-time at Drake in the 400MH and the 200M, as well as third all-time at drake in the indoor 400M.

Career Recap: Principia High School
A dual-sport athlete for Principia High School, participating in volleyball and track and field… was a three time all-state athlete in track and field, including a two- time 300MH state champion, and a state champion in the 100M.

Busiwa Alebi Miesia Asinga… Daughter of Ngozi Asinga… Has one sibling, Issam… Mother, Ngozi, was a track and field athlete at Principia College, and was a two-time Olympic athlete for Zambia… Father, Tommy, ran track at Eastern Michigan, and was a three-time Olympic athlete for Suriname… Brother Issam, is a track and field athlete for Texas A&M… born Jul. 20.
