2008 Outdoor Track and Field: Competed once, in the 3000-meter run, at the Memphis Invitational, where she finished 10th with an 11:59.66 mark.
2008 Cross Country: Solid contributor as a freshman...had her season's lone top-40 appearance at the Earl Jacoby Memorial, where she was 40th with a 22:02.30 mark...season-best 21:57.87 time came at the UE Invitational.
Prep: State qualifier for coach David Duncan at McKenzie High School...salutatorian of her graduating class.
Personal: Daughter of James and Sharon Scruton...born Jan. 8, 1990 in Mckenzie, Tenn... plans to major in English.
