Biography

2013-14: Freshman showed considerable potential during first season on campus… placed eighth in the 800m run at the OSU Tune-Up with a 2:27.79 mark… during outdoor, earned a fifth-place nod in the 400m hurdles at the Margaret Simmons Invite, posting a 1:11.19 run… personal-best in the 400m hurdles at the OVC Outdoor Championships left her just shy of earning points – she finished 10th with a 1:06.14 mark.

Prep: Ran for Jerome Dooley at Antioch High School… a seven-time state champion in the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400m relay events… competed at the Penn Relays as a senior, where she helped lead Antioch to a ninth-place finish.

Personal: Daughter of Andre and VonReesa Thompson… has one brother, Andre… born July 19… plans to major in business management at Austin Peay.
