2009 Cross Country: A useful sidekick to Avery, was runner-up in all five races she completed...earned season's lone top-40 finish came at the Sewanee Invitational, where she was 37th with a 21:05.04 mark...shaved a few seconds off that time at the Louisville Invitational, finishing 87th with a 21:01.39 mark.

2009 Outdoor Track and Field: Appeared in three meets for the Lady Govs...recorded lone outdoor top-10 at the FAMU Relays, finishing seventh in the 1500-meter run with a 5:28.67 mark.

2009 Indoor Track and Field: Had three top-10 finishes in the 5000-meter run while also competing in the 3000...had season-best third place finish in the 5000 at the DePauw Invitational, finishing with a 19:10.46 mark...season-best time came at the OVC Championships, finishing eighth with an 18:49.36 time.

Prep: Played volleyball for Vic Belleque at Dillingham High School, where she won a state title in 2000.

Personal: Enlisted in the Army in 2003, where she achieved the rank of Staff Sargeant...began running as a hobby and was recruited by the coaching staff at a local road race...married to Ryan Welch...daughter of Michael and Janice Larsen...born Sept. 4, 1984...plans to major in health and human performance.
