- OVC Track Athlete of the Week (Feb. 21, March 28, 2018)
2019-20: Another strong season for the longtime standout… opened campaign with a runner-up showing in the 60m dash at the Saluki Fast Start with a 7.59 mark… qualified for the finals in a deep 60m field at the Gene Edmonds Memorial, finishing seventh overall (7.77)… 7.57 mark netted her runner-up honors at the Thundering Herd Invitational… injury caused her to miss the 2020 Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Championships.
2018-19: As dynamic in the short sprints as any runner in program history, consistently exceeds the bar set by those who came before her… picked up a 60m win at the Saluki Fast Start (7.56)… personal-best 7.02 mark earned her the win at the Ed Temple Classic and was the third-fastest 55m dash in program history… picked up another 60m win at the Thundering Herd Invitational… third in the 60m (7.61) and seventh in the 200m (25.07) at the Bulldog Open… returned to Birmingham two weeks later and ran a program-record 7.49 to earn bronze at the 2019 Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Championships… runner-up in the 100m at the Hilltopper Relays (11.87) and third at the APSU Invitational (12.27); the run in Bowling Green is the 10th-fastest in program history… took sixth in the 100m at the season’s penultimate event at the Memphis Tiger Invitational… in addition to earning bronze in the at the 2019 OVC Outdoor Championships, finished just off the podium in the 100m as an individual with a 12.13 mark.
2017-18: 2018 NCAA East Preliminary competitor… didn’t compete in indoor until late January but quickly proved she had what it took to be a force in the sprints… earned a runner-up showing in the 60m dash with a 7.74 mark at the Thundering Herd Invitational… put up a personal-best 26.24 in the Don DeNoon Invitational in the 200m dash, finishing seventh… fourth in both the 60m (7.71) and 200m (26.45) dashes at the Buckeye Tune-Up, which earned her first Ohio Valley Conference Track Athlete of the Week award… earned bronze at the 2018 OVC Indoor Championships in the 60m dash with a personal-best 7.55… opened outdoor season with a fifth-place, 25.57 200m dash at the Coastal Carolina Invitational… OVC Track Athlete of the Week after moving to the top of the OVC with an 11.90 100m mark and posting a 25.09 in the 200m dash… third in the 200m dash (personal-best 24.33) and won the 100m event with a school-record 11.51 mark at the APSU Invitational… picked up points with a seventh-place 25.27 200m dash at the 2018 OVC Outdoor Championships and earned bronze with an 11.67 100m mark… placed 45th in her first NCAA regional appearance with an 11.73 mark in Tampa.
2016-17: Another young sprinter with a bright future… only competed three times during indoor season, topping out in her season debut with a ninth-place 7.85 60m dash mark at the Vanderbilt Opener… picked up more starts during outdoor season and made the most of them, starting with a sixth-place finish in the 100m dash (12.79) at the Gamecock Quad… placed fifth in the 100m dash at the APSU Invitational with a 12.41 mark; also enjoyed a solid 200m dash (26.77) in her first home event… 12.00 mark qualified her third in the 100m dash at the OVC Outdoor Championships; she ultimately finished eighth overall (12.38)... part of a relay team that just missed the podium at the OVC Outdoor Championships, finishing fifth (46.93) in the 400m event.
2015-16: Competed once in the 200m dash at the ETSU Invitational, running her preliminary attempt in 29.28.
Prior to Austin Peay: Competed in sprints and relays for Gerald Harrison at Waggener High School... bounced back from a foot fracture that cost her the entire 2014 season to win the 100m (12.20) and 200m (25.51) at the 2015 Kentucky High School Athletic Association Class 2-A State Championship... also competed in cross country.
Personal: Daughter of Timothy and Veronica Tolbert... has two siblings, Vyteis and Tyana... born April 20... plans to major in math.
