2024: Appeared in all 12 games for the Governors, playing primarily on special teams… Made one tackle at West Georgia (Oct. 5)… His only catch of the season was a 35-yard reception in the finale against Chattanooga (Nov. 23).
2023: Played in all 12 games at wide receiver and on special teams… Had one reception for eight yards in his Austin Peay debut at Southern Illinois (Sept. 2)… Recorded a tackle on punt coverage at Tennessee (Sept. 9)… Had a three-yard touchdown reception against ETSU (Sept. 16)… Posted a season-best two receptions for 16 yards against Gardner-Webb (Oct. 14)… Totaled two catches for 13 yards at Southern Utah (Oct. 21)… Recorded a nine-yard touchdown reception against North Alabama… Had a season-high 20 yards on one catch against Utah Tech (Nov. 11)… Finished the season with nine receptions for 74 yards and two touchdowns.
Prior to Austin Peay: Was at North Texas for four seasons (2019-22), redshirting his true freshman season in 2019. 2022: Saw action in 12 games, primarily on special teams, and did not record any statistics. 2021: Made 12 appearances and finished with 155 receiving yards and a touchdown on 13 receptions… Caught three passes for a season-best 50 yards against UTSA (Nov. 27), including a 48-yard reception… Caught a 35-yard touchdown pass at FIU (Nov. 20)… Caught three passes for 18 yards at Rice (Oct. 30)… Caught two passes for 19 yards against Liberty (Oct. 23)… Caught two passes for 22 yards against Marshall (Oct. 15)… Caught one pass for eight yards at Missouri (Oct. 9)… Caught a pass for three yards against UAB (Sept. 18). 2020: Appeared in eight games, mostly on special teams… Made his collegiate debut in the season-opening win against Houston Baptist (Sept. 5).
High School: Played wide receiver for head coach Eric Frontz at Parkland High School… Finished senior season with 1,012 receiving yards and 12 touchdown catches with 70 receptions in 12 games… Also had four touchdown runs and returned a kickoff for a touchdown to finish senior season with 17 total touchdowns… Finished prep career with 2,276 receiving yards, 26 touchdowns, and 150 receptions in 33 games… Rated a 3-star recruit by ESPN and 247Sports.com, and a 2-star recruit by Rivals.
Personal: Khatib Kahleel Lyles is the son of Dana Lyles… Birthday is Oct. 12… Has one sibling, Saleema Boyd… Graduated from North Texas in May 2023 with a bachelor’s in psychology… Pursuing a master’s in industrial organizational psychology.
