Athletic Director's Honor Roll: F20, S21, F21, S23

2023 Season (Junior)

• Set career highs in sets played (97) and matches played (27) in third season at Austin Peay.
• Recorded 394 assists (4.06 per set) and 125 digs (1.29 per set) during the season.
• Set a season-best with 21 assists against Lipscomb (Oct. 14) and tied that mark one week later against North Alabama (Oct. 21). Reached that mark again at Queens (Oct. 29).
• Scored a season-best four kills on six swings – a .667 attack percentage – against North Florida (Oct. 1).
• Notched four service aces at Western Kentucky (Sept. 10) to start a streak that saw her point 12 aces in a five-match stretch (17 sets).
• Set a season-high with 10 digs against Toledo (Sept. 10) while also recording 15 assists, two kills, and an ace.

2022 Season (Sophomore)

• Partnered with Caroline Waite to go 15-9 overall and 5-3 in conference matches with 10 wins at the No. 4 position and five wins at the No. 5 spot.
• Her 15 wins are tied for the 10th-best single-season total in program history and her .625 winning percentage is the fifth-best single-season mark in APSU history.
• Also added a pair of wins in extension matches, winning once each with Jaida Clark and Maggie Keenan.
• Went 2-1 at the OVC tournament while partnered with Waite, they were one of just two APSU duos with a winning record at the conference tournament.

2021 Season (Freshman)

• Saw action in two matches and partnered with Taylor McInerney to win her first career match from the No. 5 position against UT Martin in the home finale.
• Played in the Governors’ extra pairing five times, going 4-1 in those matches.

Career Recap: Smyrna HS

• Was a setter and outside hitter for head coach Katy Bell at Smyrna High School.
• Four-Time All-District 9-AAA selection.
• Named to 2018 and 2019 Daily New Journal All-Area Volleyball Teams.
• Played club volleyball for Middle Tennessee Volleyball Club and coach Matt Peck.

Personal

• Janvier Christine Buggs is the daughter of Lesa Soto and Nicholas Buggs.
• Born Dec. 21.
• Has five siblings: Brant, Shelsea, Javier, Noah, and Olivia.
