Biography
2009 Outdoor Track and Field: Did not finish outside the top-20 in any of her eight races...picked up first career top-five finish in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the Governors Invitational, finishing fifth with a 12:50.85 mark...in the same event, was 13th at the OVC Championships with a 13:36.50 time.
2008 Indoor Track and Field: Competed twice, first at the TSU Invite in the mile run, where she finished 25th with a 6:00.53 mark...only other event was the 800-meter run at the OVC Championships, where she finished 13th with a 2:31.31 mark.
2008 Cross Country: Battled injuries to compete in six of eight races...had season-best 49th place finish at the season-opening Mid-America Opener, with a 18:09.41 in the four-kilometer race...season-best 21:09.43 time came at the Auburn Invitational.
2007 Cross Country: In first season of competition in cross country, produced solid meets for the Lady Govs...in first career meet, finished 59th with a mark of 20:52.87 at the Belmont Opener...finished 50th at the OVC Championships with a career-best time of 20:43.97, third-fastest for the Lady Govs.
2007 Outdoor: Finished 11th in the 800-meter run at the South Florida Invitational...placed seventh in the OVC Championships in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:59.12
Prep: Ran distance for Shari McCaslin at Grand Valley High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society, named second-team All-Ohio in 2002 and was a 2004 district champion.
Personal: Daughter of Steve and Sherry Gruskiewicz...born May 28,1988...majoring in pre-physical therapy.
