Austin Peay State University Athletics

2011-12: As a junior, competed in 10 events... Placed sixth at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate, shooting an opening-round 71 (her only round under par last season and the lowest round for a Lady Gov during the `11-`12 season) on her way to a 71-76 finish... Finished 19th out of 96 competitors at the Saluki Invitational, shooting a two-round 158 (80-78)... Finished 29th at the OVC Championships, shooting a three-round 251 (79-91-81).

2010-2011: As a sophomore, Batey played in seven tournaments for the Lady Govs, including three as an individual…seven of her 15 total rounds counted for the team…finished the season with a 82.87 stroke average…recorded her only top-5 finish as an individual at the NewWave Communications Classic after shooting 160 (80-80) to finish third.

2009-10: As a freshman, played in five tournaments, all as an individual… posted a 89.78 stroke average… season’s best rounds came in a non-conference dual match against Tennessee State where she shot a pair of 83s… shot 86 twice, at the Murray State Drake Creek Invitational and the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate.

High School:  Played at Montgomery Central High School where she was a two-sport athlete in golf and basketball...was a three-time qualifier for the TSSAA State Golf Tournament... led the Lady Indians to three consecutive District 10-AA golf championships... was named the District Player of the Year as a senior... went on to place 13th in the state tournament, along with fellow signee Tabitha Beard... the Salutatorian of her graduating class, she also was a member the National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Joe and Paula Batey... born Feb. 3, 1991... pulling a double major in accounting and international management.
