As a redshirt senior in 2020-21: Injuries limited her final campaign as a Gov… was limited to appearances in match play against Western Kentucky and at the Jan Weaver Invitational, where she closed her Austin Peay career with a 240 (79-83-78).
As a senior in 2019-20: Fantastic campaign to earn first All-OVC nod… 73.0 second-round stroke average was the best by a Gov in any single round in 2019-20; 75.5 stroke average placed her seventh among OVC competitors… career-best third-place finish at the Greenbrier Invitational, where she shot 221 (74-71-76)… shared 10th at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate, earning her second career top-10 showing at the home event by shooting 230 with a second-round 71 that was her season-low… withdrew due to injury at the Chris Banister Classic and missed next event… returned with a sixth-place 145 (73-72) at the Town & Country Invitational, with five birdies in her final-round effort… shot one-under over the final 36 holes at the Kiawah Island Classic, finishing 49th in the enormous field; carded a 33 on the front-nine in the final round, including an eagle on the 422-yard par-5 at No. 4… closed season with a tie for 10th at the Benbow Invitational, shooting 154 (79-75).
As a junior in 2018-19: Constantly improving, even in third season… first big moment came at Chris Banister Classic, where her 230 (73-75-82) yielded an eight-place finish… matching 78s at the Fred Marx Invitational… part of the program-record showing at the Spring Break Shootout, firing a 219 (75-68-76) to finish tied for 16th; second-round 68 was the best round by a Governor in 2018-19… rallied back after an opening-round 80 to shoot a 229 (80-75-74) to tie for 15th at the Citrus Challenge thanks largely to a back-nine 33 in the final round… served as Austin Peay’s top finisher at the Jan Weaver Invitational with a 229 (76-77-77).
As a sophomore in 2017-18: Improved as the year went on and closed strong with four straight top-20s and back-to-back top-10 finishes to close the spring… took 23rd to open the spring in the Battle at Boulder Creek II… season-ending run of success started with a 17th-place finish at the Saluki Invitational, shooting 158 (83-75) and followed it with a 20th-place showing at the Colonel Classic (77-75—152)… first career top-five came at the Murray State Invitational, where she shot 148 (71-77) to finish fifth, including a career-best 71 in the opening round… in her first Ohio Valley Conference Championship appearance, placed 10th with a 232 (76-77-79), canning a team-best 35 pars.
As a freshman in 2016-17: Developed nicely as the season progressed and has a bright future ahead… had a first home tournament to remember, finishing sixth with a 155 (75-80) at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate; the 75 was her season-best round… posted another top-20 at the Winthrop Intercollegiate, tying for 16th with a 160 (78-82)… closed the Colonel Classic with back-to-back rounds of 78, finishing 40th as the individual (84-78-78-240).
Prior to Austin Peay: Played for Andy Gilley at Hendersonville High School, winning back-to-back District championships in 2014-15… Sumner County Player of the Year in 2014… three-time district champion and regional runner-up in 2015 and 2016… three-time TSSAA State Championships qualifier… Tennessee Junior Cup team member in 2014 and 2015… runner-up in the Metro Parks Schooldays Tournament in 2015… in addition to pulling a 4.0 grade-point average, was eighth place nationally in the Future Business Leaders of America Public Speaking I competition.
Personal: Daughter of Greg and Kerrey Stamps… mother was an Austin Peay cheerleader and father played baseball and basketball at Trevecca… born April 22… majoring in communications.
