High School: Earned All-State honors as a senior... switched from tight end to offensive tackle prior to start of senior season before earning region Lineman of the Year honor... led Ringgold HS to Class AAA State Playoffs... reached the state semifinals as a sophomore.

Personal: Son of Corey Pierce and Kelly Whitaker... father played baseball at Young Harris College... has three siblings--Jenna Claire, Taylor and Abby... born Nov. 30.
