College: Middle linebacker was Govs’ leading tackler a year ago...considered one of strongest Govs in weight room...started 10 games and made 11 appearances in 2012… led the Govs with 72 tackles (38 solo), including 4.5 tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a sack… registered six tackles, including a tackle for loss, in the season opener at Western Kentucky…had eight total tackles (four solo), including a sack, at Virginia Tech…made season-high 11 tackles (10 solo) at Tennessee State…recorded seven tackles, including one for a loss, against Eastern Illinois… shared a tackle for loss in limited duty against Culver-Stockton… made seven tackles in the finale (five solo) and added a tackle for loss in the finale against Tennessee Tech...in 2011, finished seventh on team in tackles with 35, playing mostly as reserve…credited with three tackles for loss and tied for team lead with quarterback hurries with three… recorded at least one tackle in all but season finale… tallied three unassisted tackles at Memphis… had five tackles next week against Eastern Kentucky… credited with season’s first tackle for loss against Tennessee State… tallied season-high seven tackles against Eastern Illinois, including tackle for loss… also was credited with half tackles for loss against both Jacksonville State and Central State… collected five tackles against Tennessee Tech… in 2010, ended season at strong side linebacker, playing in 8 games… suffered a torn meniscus, forcing him to have surgery after Wisconsin game… collected 13 tackles in 2010… credited with nine stops, ranking third best on team, in the Govs opener against Cumberland.

High School: Was a three-time all-region linebacker at Bolton High School for Joe Welch.

Personal: Health and human performance major…  multi-time member of Athletics Director’s Honor Roll…member of Dean’s List during spring...son of Craig and Debbie Salley…  born Nov. 1, 1991…  age 21..will turn 22 day before Jacksonville State game.
