College: Returns as starting fullback...burly backfield performer considered good blocker and effective in short-yardage running situations...effective pass catcher out of backfield...also productive on kickoff return team as up back blocker... In 2012 against Virginia Tech had a career long run for 17 yards...in 2011, carried ball seven times...produced season's best six-yard run in opener against Cincinnati...also had two other five-yard runs against Southeast Missouri and Murray State...also had season-long 22-yard catch against Central State among his three receptions...in 2010, played behind Jontaimion Forrest at fullback...appeared in all 11 games but failed to gain a carry from scrimmage...as up back on kickoff return team, was credited with four returns, longest being 13 yards against Southeast Missouri...also was credited with one tackle on season.

High School: Played baseball and football at Creekwood High School... earned All-Region in 2008 for Brandon Gray...was named Male Athlete of the Year as a senior.

Personal: Public management major... son of Roy and Vanessa Tucker... born Sept. 5, 1990...age 21... will turn 22 Wednesday before Virginia Tech game.
