College: Provides depth at linebacker while being one of Govs’ top special teams performers...saw action in all 11 games at linebacker and on special teams in 2012… made nine tackles (seven solo) in 2012…credited with season-high two tackles against Virginia Tech, a feat he later equaled against Culver-Stockton… had one solo tackle in each game against Tennessee State, UT Martin, Eastern Illinois, Murray State and Jacksonville State...after not playing football for two years while attending Roane State for two years, transferred to APSU last fall… finished with 11 tackles, many as special teams member.

High School: Played running back for David Gillium at Scott County High School.

Personal: Biology major with professional education minor… three-member of Dean’s List and Athletics Director’s Honor Roll both semesters last year… son of Gary and Robin Sexton… brother Jacob was high school and now current college teammate…  born July 7, 1990…  age 23.
