College: Returned to defensive end in spring after playing linebacker in 2012...played first season as end before making shift in Spring 2012...made 10 appearances in 2012…made nine tackles…credited with solo tackle in the opener against Western Kentucky… also had a solo tackle against Tennessee State… recovered a fumble and shared a tackle for loss against UT Martin… had season-best four tackles (two solo) against Eastern Kentucky...as defensive end has shown ability to get into the backfield, evidenced by his 2011 6.0 tackles for loss, second best on team… in 2011, played in all 11 games, being credited with at least one tackle in each game he played… recorded four stops–two for loss–against Memphis… credited with shared tackle for loss vs. Eastern Kentucky… tallied season-best five tackles for loss against UT Martin, including seven-yard tackle for loss… only tackle against Jacksonville State was for loss… also had 1.5 tackles for loss against Central State… in 2010, found home on right side as a true freshman… made 14 tackles in 2010, including seven solo stops… billed as a pass rusher, but made 12 tackles against the run… worked on kick-off special-teams unit as well… made four tackles in season-opener against Cumberland… followed that with four tackles at Middle Tennessee… had three stops at Murray State.

High School: Credited with 158 tackles as senior linebacker for Chip Lindsey at Lassiter High School...intercepted five passes and scored five touchdowns...selected first-team Associated Press All-State...chosen All-Cobb County as junior and senior, earning Cobb-Schutt Award (Defensive Player of the Year) as senior...played in Cobb County Touchdown Club All-Star game.
