College: In second season as defensive lineman after beginning career on offensive side... made seven game appearances along line in 2012… assisted on two tackles against Culver-Stockton, including one for a loss...in 2001, made smooth transition from offensive line to nose tackle in 2011… credited with five stops in first defensive season… played behind former high school teammate Reese Bulmash at position… made impressive strides after shifting to position during Spring 2011… redshirted 2010, using season to improve strength and footwork… interior lineman began season as a backup for Kelvin Little at left guard… opted to redshirt.

High School: Offensive and defensive lineman for Bill Shackelford at Sprayberry High School...chosen all-region and second-team all-county...credited with 75 pancake blocks...played in Cobb County Touchdown Club All-Star game.

Personal: Communications arts major with broadcast media concentration…  one-time member of Athletics Director’s Honor Roll… son of Rodney Jinks…  born Jan. 5, 1992…  age 21.
