College: Enters 2010 listed No. 1 depth chart at defensive end... played in 10 games, making 11 tackles in 2009... played behind a pair of senior defensive ends in Chris Newell and Nick Clark...a long-armed run stopper with good speed on the end... also saw time on special teams, working on kickoff and punt return coverage teams... had four special-teams tackles...after redshirting in 2007, became vital part of defensive front in 2008...played in all 11 games in 2008...collected season-best four tackles against Gardner-Webb...was credited with one-half tackle for loss in that game and against Georgia Southern, which was a sack...High School: Played linebacker for Ronnie McClurg at Dalton High School...chosen All-North Georgia, All-Area Dalton and All-Region 7AAAA...also presented team Scholar-Athlete Award...team captain...voted team's Most Outstanding Defensive Player...Personal: History major...six-time member of Athletics Director's Honor Roll, including twice earning Dean's List honors...also ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America candidate...son of Jim and Becky Keck...born May 20, 1988...age 22.
