Devine enters his first season on the Govs’ coaching staff as a graduate assistant for the 2026 season.

Devine graduated from Austin Peay following the 2024 season, where he was one of the best arms on the pitching staff, earning Second Team All-ASUN honors after posting a 6-0 record and a 2.95 ERA, which led the team. Over his 58.0 innings pitched, he also struck out 66 batters and held batters to a .174 batting average.

Before his time at Austin Peay, Devine played four seasons at Texas Tech, where he made 53 appearances, 49 in relief. He struck out 78 batters in 63.0 innings pitched and held opponents to a .254 batting average.
