Austin Peay State University Athletics

JaCobian Morgan joined the Austin Peay coaching staff as an offensive analyst in 2026 after playing quarterback at Syracuse from 2020-22 and Jackson State from 2023-25. Morgan reunited with offensive coordinator Quinn Billerman, who coached him during the 2023 season at Jackson State.

Morgan helped lead Jackson State to the 2024 HBCU national championship and Celebration Bowl title, earning Offensive MVP honors in the championship game. A 2025 second-team All-SWAC selection, he threw for nearly 2,900 yards and 29 touchdowns during his time with the Tigers while adding 10 rushing touchdowns.
