Austin Peay State University Athletics

Kendell Johnson joined the Austin Peay athletics staff in May 2024 after serving as Football Academic Fellow at Florida State since 2021. There, he managed and provided academic support to more than 35 student-athletes. Prior to his time in Tallahassee, Johnson was a graduate assistant at Ole Miss, where he oversaw the academic success of walk-ons and mentored six student-athletes. 

Johnson played collegiate football at the Memphis from 2018-21, earning his bachelor’s degree in finance. He received his master’s degree in higher education and student personnel from Ole Miss in May 2023.
