Luke Haker joined Jeff Faris’ staff as the Chief of Staff and Director of Team Operations in Jan. 2024.
In his current role, Haker facilitates team travel, meals, and day-to-day operations for the program.
Prior to joining Faris’ staff, he was the assistant director of football operations at Marshall, Feb. 2021 – Dec. 2022. While with the Thundering Herd, Haker helped coordinate team travel, postseason bowl logistics, team meals, was the liaison for facilities, and more. He also served as the team travel advance personnel and played a role in the operational execution of the team’s appearance in the 2021 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.
Before arriving in Huntington, West Virginia, Haker was a team operations seasonal intern for the Cleveland Browns – his second stint in the NFL. While attending Mississippi State, Haker served as a football operations student assistant for the Bulldogs and also was a training camp intern for the Browns in the summers of 2018 and 2019.
Haker graduated from Mississippi State with a bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2019.
