Trevor Horton joined Jeff Faris’ staff as an offensive graduate assistant in July 2024.
Prior to joining the staff, Horton was a wide receiver at Duke from 2019-23, where Faris served as the Blue Devils’ co-offensive coordinator during his redshirt sophomore season in 2021.
Horton appeared in four games during his collegiate career. Following his second season in Durham, North Carolina, he was presented with the Mike Suglia Award, which is presented annually to a second-year member of the Duke football program who exemplifies the qualities of the late Mike Suglia, who was an offensive lineman at Duke from 1976-77.
The following season, Horton was presented with the Micah Harris Trinity Teammate Award, which is presented annually to the member of the Duke football program who displays the highest teammate qualities such as inspiration, unselfishness, and commitment to the team.
Horton is a two-time Duke graduate, earning his bachelor’s degree in neuroscience in 2023 before earning his master’s in management studies in 2024.
