Clarksville, Tenn. – Senior outside hitter Jada Stotts, of Austin Peay State University volleyball team, has been named the Copies in a Flash APSU Athlete of the Week.

Stotts recorded a season-best 16 kills in the Lady Govs loss to USC Upstate, Saturday, to go along with three service aces and a block. For the weekend, the senior from Hoffman Estates, Illinois had 35 kills (3.89 kpg) and 38.5 points (4.28 ppg) at the Big Orange Bash, hosted by Clemson.

The Copies in a Flash APSU Athlete of the Week is selected by the APSU Sports Information staff each Tuesday during the academic year. Copies in a Flash, of Clarksville, sponsors the award.

Other notable performances by Austin Peay athletes included:

• Sophomore defensive back Roderick Owens, of the football team, made three tackles, forced a fumble and picked off Memphis quarterback Paxton Lynch in the first quarter of Saturday’s season-opening loss to FBS opponent Memphis.
