Another asset from Matt Figger’s time at South Carolina, Jacob Freeze joins the Austin Peay coaching staff as the graduate assistant for the 2018-19 season.

Freeze brings a wealth of basketball knowledge with him to Clarksville. In addition to three years as a student-manager at South Carolina—two as the head manager, including the 2016-17 Final Four team—Freeze coached last year at Laurens District 55 High School, assisting with a varsity team which showed an eight-win improvement from the previous season while also serving as head coach of the freshman team. He also assisted at summer camps for South Carolina, Wofford and Presbyterian during his collegiate years.

Freeze graduated Cum Laude from South Carolina in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education.
