Governors 2006-07 basketball schedule modifications include ESPNU appearances

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. ? Austin Peay State University has announced some changes on its 2006-07 basketball
schedule, two that will accommodate a pair of ESPNU appearances.
In fact, Austin Peay's home game against Murray State, originally schedule for Jan. 11, has been moved to a 6 p.m.,
Tuesday, Jan. 16 contest and will televised by ESPNU. In addition, the Governors game at Tennessee Tech, originally
slated for Monday, Feb. 19, has been pushed back one day to the 20th and will start at 6 p.m.
In addition, the Governors contest at Memphis, originally scheduled for Friday, Dec. 15th, has been pushed forward
one day to Dec. 14th.
Other changes see Austin Peay officially opening the 2006-07 home season against Tennessee Wesleyan, Monday,
Nov. 27. Tennessee Wesleyan replaces Kentucky Wesleyan in the 7 p.m. contest.
Also, both preseason exhibition contests also are official. The Govs will play Rhodes College, Monday, Nov. 6, to open
the season in a 7:30 p.m. contest. Then on Nov. 18, APSU will play Lambuth in 7:30 p.m. game. The Lady Govs will play
Arkansas and former APSU coach Susie Gardner in the first game of that night's doubleheader.
