CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. ? Austin Peay State University women's tennis team lost 6-1, against Western Kentucky, Friday.

The Lady Govs struggled at home, dropping it's top two single matches before, freshman Morgan Klieberi won an exciting match against Western's Brittany Waiz 6-3, 6-2, in No. 3 action. Fellow freshman Alexandria Pyle dropped a close contest to Western's Krystal Brown, 5-7, 6-0, 14-12, in No. 4. Action.

Doubles action didn't fair much better for the Lady Govs, as Western Kentucky took an early advantage, dominating two of the three matches. The Lady Govs tandem of Michelle Liew and Laura Gonzalez won 8-6, in No. 2. doubles, while Alex Pyle and Mary Beth Lefler lost in No.3 doubles 8-3.
