In a match reschedule from more than two weeks ago, Austin Peay State University women's tennis team lost 7-0 to Ohio Valley Conference opponent Jacksonville State. The Lady Govs fall to 0-12 overall with an 0-3 league mark. The Gamecocks improved to 5-9 with a 2-1 OVC record.
Jacksonville State powered through the doubles competition with a clean sweep, allowing no more than two games to the Lady Govs in any match.
Mariana Pagan took Viviane Marani to a tiebreaker at No. 1 singles. Marani won the first set, 6-4, but Pagan ran away with the second set, 6-1. However, it was Marani winning the tiebreaker, 10-5, to cap the Gamecock sweep.
