CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. ? Austin Peay State University's softball team will close out its 2008 schedule with a three-game Ohio Valley Conference series at Lady Govs Field against Tennessee Tech starting with a 1 p.m. doubleheader Saturday and conclude on Sunday with a noon single game.

Despite not making the post-season tournament field this season, Austin Peay (9-35, 3-20 OVC) can still have a hand at who does. Tennessee Tech (25-28-1, 9-10 OVC) currently sits in the sixth and final spot heading into the final weekend of play, but still hasn't locked up the spot yet with Samford and Southeast Missouri still in the hunt.
