NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Austin Peay will seek to maintain its road momentum, 7:30 p.m., Saturday, when it travels to Nashville to face Tennessee State in Ohio Valley Conference action at the Gentry Center.

The Governors are off to a 5-1 OVC start, thanks to a 4-0 road mark. That included a weekend sweep at UT Martin, 85-76, and Murray State, 58-57. That pair was the OVC co-favorites in preseason polling.

Tennessee State, meanwhile, incurred road defeats at both Murray and Martin. The Tigers enter Saturday with a 3-3 OVC record, 5-11 overall.

Guard Gerald Robinson, one of the OVC's top freshmen a year ago, is averaging 18.1 ppg, while inside player Jerrell Houston scored 25 points against the Govs in the last season's OVC tourney championship contest. The Tigers swept Eastern Kentucky and Morehead State when they visited earlier this month.

APSU again will be led by senior forward Drake Reed (19.2 ppg), who hit the game-winning shot against Murray State, and Wes Channels (17.3 ppg). The Governors are expected to be without forward Ernest Fields, who suffered an ankle sprain against Murray State.
