BOWLING GREEN, Ky.  ? Austin Peay State University women's tennis team lost a hard-fought, 5-2, match to Western Kentucky, Saturday, in Bowling Green, Ky. The Lady Govs fall to 0-4 on the season.

The Lady Govs played strong at the top of the lineup as Mariana Pagan improved to 2-2 on the season at No. 1 singles. Despite dropping the first set, Pagan battled back to win the next two decisively. Michelle Liew continued her stellar play at No. 2 singles also in come-from-behind fashion. Liew dropped the first set, 3-6, but won the next two sets to remain undefeated individually.

In doubles action, Paga and Yuki Nakamura won the Lady Govs only match, 8-6, at No. 1 doubles, while Liew and Demitria Georgakopoulus lost by the same score at No. 2.
