Coach Loos Quotes:

“I liked the defensive effort for tonight, but offensively we are kind of in a mess to be honest. We were just trying to do too much too soon. We had some possessions late in the game were we would just turn it over, take bad shots, and hurry our shots. We had everything going our way and we were just in too big of a rush. Then we get into overtime and get some critical possessions and try to force shots off of one or two passes. We don't make people guard us, we are too easy to guard. They want to have that killer instinct out there but we just haven't figured that out yet. We have to play together and we didn't.”

Drake Reed had a terrific game from a scoring stand point. Yet down the stretch we had a lot of turnovers and Drake was involved in that. We have to play together. We have to get him a bunch of touches, but we also have to take care of the basketball too. Drake had a terrific output tonight in terms of points scored.”

“We have to get well. We have lost three in a row now, maybe we can get on some type of run doing that. We have a team that really played well at TSU. We are going to have to forget about this, but yet learn from it. We have to figure out that we have to play together as a team. I saw some really great play tonight out of two of our freshman Anthony Campbell and Tyrone Caldwell. They rose to the occasion along with some of our seniors and they will get additional playing time for that.”
