Lady Govs tennis narrowly falls to Eastern Illinois

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. ? Austin Peay State University women's tennis team lost a close Ohio Valley Conference decision, Saturday, falling to Eastern Illinois, 4-3, at the Governors Tennis Center.

Austin Peay started out by losing the doubles point but could do no better than split the three singles matches.
APSU won at No. 1 (Mariana Pagan), No. 2 (Michelle Liew) and No. 3 (Yuki Nakamura) singles but could not claim any of the bottom singles-half matches. Pagan dropped just two games in claiming her singles match against Hayley Homburg.

The loss drops APSU to 1-2 overall and 0-3 in the OVC.
