CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. ? Austin Peay State University men's tennis team was swept in Ohio Valley Conference action against Tennessee Tech, Tuesday, at the Governors Indoor Tennis Center.

The Golden Eagles, beginning with the doubles competition, pitched a shutout winning every set of Tuesday's match. Govs tandem Lucas De Brito and Leonardo Locatelli played the closest doubles match, 8-5, at No. 1, losing to Dean O'Brien and Josh Girling.

On the singles side, TTU breezed through the Govs lineup. Locatelli played a tough match at No. 1, but lost to O'Brien. De Brito played a close first set, 7-6, at No. 2 singles against Girling, but was shutout in the second.

Austin Peay returns to action with a rescheduled OVC match, Friday, at Tennessee State in Nashville.
