NASHVILLE, Tenn. ? Austin Peay women's tennis team earned it season's second win, shutting out Tennessee State 7-0, Friday. The Lady Govs improve to 2-13 with a 1-4 league mark.

Mariana Pagan improved to 4-1 against OVC opponents with a straight-set win at No. 1 singles, while Michelle Liew improved to a team-best 11-4 overall with her win at No. 2 singles. Yuki Nakamura picked up her second OVC win at NO. 3 singles. Demi Georgakopoulus, Brittany Hayes and Alex Pyle each picked up their season's first league win. Pyle had to battle through an 28-point tiebreaker, winning 15-13, at No. 6 singles.

On the doubles side, the Lady Govs overwhelmed TSU. Pagan and Nakamura won at No.1 singles and have now won four of their last five at the position. At No. 2 singles, Liew and Hayes broke a two-game skid with an 8-2 win. Georgakopoulus and Pyle won their first league match at No.3 doubles.
