FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Austin Peay State University women's basketball team will face Valparaiso in a 5 p.m., Friday contest i Beaumont, Texas, in its second game of the Preseason Women's NIT, the organization announced Saturday night.

The Lady Govs and Crusaders were assigned to the Lamar Consolation Bracket which includes Lamar and Utah Valley. Lamar and Utah Valley will square off following the Austin Peay-Valparaiso contest. The losers of those contests will meet in a 1 p.m., Saturday contest, which will be followed by a matchup of the winners at approximately 3 p.m.

However, the Lady Govs cannot look ahead to those contests as they will first host Middle Tennessee in a 7 p.m., Tuesday contest at the Dunn Center.
