CINCINNATI- Austin Peay State University men's
tennis team dropped a 4-3 match at Xavier, Saturday, in Cincinnati.
Much like the previous night's win against
Southern Illinois, the match came down to a battle at No. 6 singles, only this
time the Govs came out on the wrong end of a three-set match. Austin Peay got a
pair of singles wins and won the doubles point to account for three wins in the
match.
Freshman Jasmin Ademovic picked up a
straight-set win at No. 1 singles against Xavier's Bobby Deye and sophomore Henrique
Norbaito earned a straight-set win at No. 3. Of the Govs four singles losses,
two matches went into the third set.
Sophomore Sean Bailey won the second set
against Xavier's Jimmy Roebker at No. 2, while sophomore John Storie won the
opening set against Brian Starr at No. 6 singles.
Austin Peay did prevail on the doubles side,
keeping a streak of five-straight doubles' point wins alive. Bailey and
Norbaito won at No. 1 doubles, while freshman Joao Pagan and Storie won at No.

The Govs return to action with a two-match
