CLARKSVILLE - Austin Peay State University rising junior
shortstop Reed Harper and rising senior third baseman Greg Bachman were each
named to their respective league's all-star teams this week.
Harper was named to the Coastal Plains League's American
All-Star team and was 1-for-2 in the league's all-star game, July 18. He is
batting .259 for the Forest City Owls with four home runs and 25 RBI.
Bachman was picked to represent the New England Collegiate
Baseball League's East Division at third base in the league's upcoming July 27
all-star contest. He is batting .236 with eight RBI in 25 games with the
Vermont Mountaineers.
