CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Austin Peay State University women's tennis team returns to action and closes out a three-game homestand when it hosts Lipscomb in a 1 p.m., Friday match at the Austin Peay Indoor Tennis Center.

The Lady Govs enter the weekend with an 0-5 record after dropping a 6-1 decision against Western Kentucky last Saturday.

Lipscomb (2-2) enters the match with a victory last weekend against Belmont. The Bisons are led by sophomore Laura Kent who owns a 3-0 record in singles action this spring, along with freshman Hannah Gamage, who has posted a 2-2 mark in singles play. 

After hosting the Bisons, the Lady Govs will hit the road to take on Southern Illinois in a 4:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 27, contest.
