Post-Game Notes: Lady Govs vs. UT Martin

• The loss drops Austin Peay back down to .500 (5-5) in Ohio Valley Conference play, but still leads the all-time series over the Skyhawks at 40-32.
• However, it's the seventh-straight loss by the Lady Govs against UT Martin and fourth consecutive defeat in Clarksville.
• Sophomore guard April Rivers led Austin Peay in scoring with 16 points, one shy of tying her career-high, but is a season-best for her.
• Junior guard Tiasha Gray added 14 points, six assists, and six steals, but also tied a career-high in turnovers with eight.
• With her six steals, Gray becomes the second player in APSU history to reach 1,000 points, 300 assists, and 200 steals. The first was head coach Carrie Daniels.
• Junior forward Jennifer Nwokocha recorded a double-double (10 points, 10 rebounds), the first since having 12 and 11 a season ago vs. Murray State.
• Both teams combined to commit 47 fouls. Of APSU's total of 19, 15 were charged to post players.
• With several Lady Govs in foul trouble, Sydney Gooch notched career-highs in both points (eight) and rebounds (nine).
• The Lady Govs shot a season-low 29 percent from the field (15-for-51).
• On the flip side, APSU went to the free throw line a season-high 37 times, converting 26 points from the charity stripe
• UT Martin's Ashia Jones racked up 34 points in the game, the most scored against APSU in a single-game this season.
• Coming into the contest, the Skyhawks' margin of victory was 21 points. But in the closing stages, APSU went on an 8-0 run to make it a 10-point deficit as time expired.
