A ROTATION OF KNOWLEDGE

  • KEEPING UP WITH THE JONESES. Austin Peay is one of five teams with one loss or less entering the OVC slate's third weekend. The Govs will look to keep pace with that group this weekend with a key OVC contest against league-leading SIUE, Saturday.
  • REIGNITE THE STREAK. The Govs saw their 6-match win streak halted at Murray State, but recovered with a win at Eastern Kentucky. Austin Peay has won 7 of its last 8 outings, winning 27 of its 32 sets play in that span.
  • SLAY PASSES 200-BLOCK MARK. Junior Ashley Slay became just the 11th Governors player to record 200 career blocks, reaching the milestone at Eastern Kentucky, Saturday. She needs 7 blocks to move into APSU's Top 10.
  • STUCKER SETS THE STAGE. Sophomore Kristen Stucker ended the weekend as the OVC's assists leader (97th nationally), averaging 9.90 helpers per set. Her 663 total assists ranks 34th nationally.
  • OFFENSIVE PACE QUICKENING. The Govs enter this weekend ranked 2nd among league offenses with a .210 attack percentage. The Govs had slipped to 4th in kills, averaging 12.88 per set.
  • SPREADING THE LOVE. Despite ranking as one of the OVC's top offenses (4th in OVC), the Govs do not have a player ranked among the league's Top 10 in kills. Juniors Ashley Slay (2.87 kills per set) and Kaitlyn Teeter (2.79) as well as sophomore Cecily Gable (2.68) are just outside the league's Top 10.
