MURFREESBORO – Austin Peay State University men's tennis team dropped a tough decision against Middle Tennessee on Monday in Murfreesboro.

MTSU (1-0) started fast in the doubles portion of the match, winning the first two at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles to claim the doubles point. Austin Peay (0-1) fought hard at No. 2 doubles but the match eventually went unfinished.

The Blue Raiders went on to claim all six singles points en route to claiming the match.

Austin Peay returns to open its home schedule, Jan. 27 against Chattanooga at the Governors Indoor Tennis Center.
