CLARKSVILLE – Austin Peay State University's baseball team will close out its fall schedule with the annual Red-Black World Series, beginning Monday at Raymond C. Hand Park. The three-game series will feature games beginning at 3:30 p.m., Monday-Wednesday.
Rosters for the Red-Black World Series will be determined this weekend. The event will close out a busy fall for the Governors, which began Sept. 17. The fall featured exhibition contests for the first time with the Govs hosting Columbia State Community College and Wabash Valley College in October.
Austin Peay will then break for the winter before returning to campus in January in the leadup to the Feb. 17 opening date for Division I college baseball. The Governors 2019 slate will be announced following the conclusion of the Red-Black World Series.
