DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Austin Peay State University's cheerleading team completed its 2017-18 season with a fourth-place finish in the 2018 NCA & NDA Collegiate Cheer and Dance Championship.

Competing in the Division I Co-Ed competition, the Governors qualified for the finals along with Weber State, Stephen F. Austin, Sam Houston State and Grambling State. Austin Peay took home fourth in that group with a final score of 95.70. It is the second consecutive year the Governors have posted a Top 4 finish in the national championship.
