CLARKSVILLE- Austin Peay State University men's tennis team hits the road again for an in-state matchup, 3:30 p.m., Saturday, at Chattanooga.
The Governors (0-3) are still looking for their first win of the season after being defeated by Lipscomb in their most recent match.
Timo Kiesslich took his opponent to three sets at No. 2 singles, but could not inspire the Govs to a victory.
Opponent Spotlight
The Mocs (0-3) have also had a start to forget this season, dropping their first three matches, including one to common opponent Middle Tennessee.
When the two teams met last season in Clarksville, the Mocs came away with a 5-2 victory. Kiesslich teamed with Christian Edison for a win in doubles while Jacob Lorino defeated his opponent in straight sets at No. 6 singles.
Lorino has had the most success against the Mocs, with a 2-0 career record in singles and 1-1 record in doubles in matches against UTC opponents.
As a team, the Govs have won six of the last eight matches against the Mocs, but are 2-2 in the last four meetings.
