CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Austin Peay State University men's basketball head coach Nate James has tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss the Govs' Ohio Valley Conference openers against UT Martin, Thursday.  

APSU associate head coach Brett Carey will serve as the Govs acting head coach in James' absence.

The Govs return to the court for the first time since a Dec. 18 contest at Vanderbilt. Austin Peay begins its final season in the OVC and seeks its fourth 1-0 start in the last five years.
